Invisible Zinc

Sunscreens can fall into two categories: physical, and chemical filters. Chemical filter sunscreens, the most common on the market, are effective at protecting against the sun’s rays, but not necessarily good for our body, as the main filter chemicals can be absorbed by the body and are linked to a number of health concerns.

Physical sun blocks, like zinc, are different. They sit on the skin’s surface and act as a shield, blocking the sun’s rays directly without being absorbed. Invisible Zinc sits on the skin, but unlike the coloured zinc products of old, new technology means it blends in invisibly, like standard sunblock.

Look for tinted moisturizer and various high-SPF sunblocks in our range of Invisible Zinc products.

Product Reviews

  • Lovely satin sheen

    star

I find this product great - a winter alternative to expensive foundation and a summer alternative to a zinc white face. Its goes on smoothly and leaves a saturny finish to my skin. I always feel like my complexion is glowing when wearing it.

  • Not 'invisible' as name suggests

Good protection and texture but definitely not 'invisible' as name suggests.

  • Thick, greasy, sticky and hard to rub in

    star

The worst natural sunscreen I've ever tried. Its thick and sticky and is very hard to rub in. I used it on my arms they looked wet like I had slopped cooking oil on my arms. I used it on my face, and my hair kept sticking to them as it makes the skin sticky. NOT invisible, gives a strong white cast. Smells terrible as well, like sweet sickly baby powder.
