In a little country named New Zealand, tucked far,far away at the bottom of the world, where clean rivers flowed through verdant pastures and abundant orchards sheltering under wide blue cloudless skies, some concerned people said, "Enough" to additives, preservatives, extra sugar and more stuff that was added to food.
And they proposed something quite radical, "What if we start celebrating the natural goodness that is already in our food and make sure we give our children healthier options for their lunchboxes and snack times."
So they got together lots of clever healthy people to find a way to take yummy fresh fruit like apples, bananas, berries, kiwifruit and sweetcorn and turn them into delicious, convenient and healthy snacks.
In fact they discovered that by actually taking something away - the moisture - and freeze drying them they would stay naturally high in flavour because they retained virtually all of their nutrients - vitamins and minerals which meant there was no need to pump them full of preservatives or add loads of refined sugar, artificial colours or flavours. Instead they stayed mouthwateringly fresh like nature intended providing honest goodness you could taste.
And so Kiwigarden was born.
