Product Reviews

  • Great apart from sweet aftertaste

    star

I tend to make my protein shakes just straight up with water and found this one had a distinct stevia aftertaste - almost too sweet for me. Mixed with other things it wasn't so noticeable. Otherwise a great protein powder.

  • Used to be good, what happened

    star

I loved this and other Red 8 products years ago, was super happy to find this but it's just not what it was. It used to taste amazing and was very smooth - now it tastes sour and harsh like chemicals and is anything but smooth. I'd guess the Soy is not the same grade as it was (dare I say Chinese?). I've ended up using Tony Sfeirs Soy which to my surprise is very much better. Even the Red 8 packaging used to be cool but now it's this cheap nasty plastic - very disappointed to be honest, definitely wouldn't buy again I threw it out.

  • Great taste, easy to use and affordable!

    star

I purchased this Red8 Whey Protein in the Vanilla flavour, for my partner who is currently training everyday for his Black belt in a martial arts. He really likes it! He comes home from training and makes it up with milk, a banana and adds some magnesium powder. Fantastic for muscle recovery after a hard workout and nice and light on the stomach. And it tastes great too!!! Will definitely be purchasing again!
