Vital

Vital Greens was developed in 2000 by two iconic Sydney naturopaths, Shane Sullivan and Stephen Sprada. At this time Shane and Stephen noticed an influx of clients with gut, bowel and digestive problems. Many of their clients were taking large amounts of supplements, some up to 30 tablets a day. Shane and Stephen therefore created a comprehensive powder formula that addressed digestive conditions and poor absorption – and Vital Greens was born.

Product Reviews

  • Not as nice as whey

But not as grainy as some other plant based protein powders I have tried, but also not very nice just mixed with water. Quite filling though.

  • Good product

The powder is very fine and tends to stick to whatever you are scooping it out with. Taste is Ok once you get used to it (I had the chocolate). Not too sweet like some protein powders can be. I found it very filling, which is good. Mixed well but you need to use a decent size shaker.

  • Just OK

I like the idea of pea protein as I try to minimise dairy in my diet and don't want a whey protein powder. Be aware if you haven't tried a pea protein powder before there is a distinct flavour to this protein powder which took a bit of getting used to even with the vanilla flavouring. Probably not so great if you mix your protein powder just with water like me. I resorted to using coconut water to mix with to disguise the taste a little. Other than that, no complaints.
