Superfoods

We all know the key to eating well is to incorporate plenty of real, whole foods in our diets – vegetables, fruit, eggs, meat and so on. But how many of us include those foods that are extraordinarily high in the good stuff?

Superfoods are ones that have unusually high nutritional density, rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other goodies that help us live long, happy, healthy lives. While many of us think of ‘superfoods’ as rare fruits sourced from the Amazon rainforest and other exotic places, many of the foods we eat every day are also classed as superfoods – for example turmeric, beetroot and honey. Try adding them to your daily diet or supplementation regime, or add interest and flavour to your smoothies with nutrient-rich powders.

Stick to normal turmeric this stuff is disgusting, overly and unnecessarily sweet with overkill on the stevia.

  • Best way to get a greens boost

    star

Having used for several years this is by far my fav greens drink and I highly recommend it. It is sweet for a greens drink (without the usual icky Stevia aftertaste) but this makes it perfect for mixing with water, and as I take liquid iron supplement I just mix the two and drink no problems.
I would also recommend this product for anyone trying to lose weight. Initially i used it as a sweet craving replacement. Instead of dessert I would mix up a glass of vital greens. At just 40 calories and full of the vitamins & minerals your body needs I found it sated my cravings and I would stop wanting sweets. Really helped my energy and staying on track with my diet.

I really like this powder. I don't particularly like hot green tea so I mix this with Lemon Barley and drink cold, it's very refreshing. Have definitely noticed drinking this most days gives me more energy. Very strong so a packet goes a long way.
