Tried red seal st john's wort from supermarket and it did nothing for me.
Tried this Thompson's St John's wort after reading all the great reviews
on here and was not dissapointed. Overall keeps me in a cruisey calm
mood, more energy than before, lifts a depressed mood.
A doctor said to me St John's wort works like Prozac but better
for you. Onto my 12th bottle, probably try slowly weaning off
it at some stage, tried a fast pace of weaning off it in the past
and noticed a difference in mood (for the worse) within a week.

  • Headaches, tired, spacey

    star

It could be unrelated, but I've been taking these for nearly a week and have had days of feeling really spacey and headachey... Today I decided not to take them and felt fine, then about midday decided to give them another ago and took 1 tablet and started feeling tired/headachey/all-round weird not long after. I am going to have a 2 or 3 day break and see if these side effects go away, and then will do another day on 1 tablet and see if the weird feeling comes back. Have taken other brands of st johns wort in the past with no side effects so I don't think I'm intolerant to the herb! Will post another review once I do my little experiment if I remember :)

  • It's not the products fault lol

    star

I do like this product, I have been taking it for several months, I have felt some small positive changes, nothing too dramatic which is good as we don't want to shock a fatigued system into anything lol. It did seem to provide a behind the scenes type practicalness back into my thinking and does seem to settle things down in my mind, it's battling against A LOT of changes in my 48 year old self right now so I think it is doing what it can lol
