Tea Tree Oil Benefits

Tea tree oil is made from the leaves of the tea tree, which is native to Australia. It is said Captain Cook brewed some leaves from the tree and thus named it the ‘tea’ tree.

Pure tea tree oil has many medicinal properties for topical use such as being antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. This practical oil is used in healing creams, aromatherapy and with beauty and personal care products - which you can browse in our selection above.

Tea tree oil has been used as a natural insect repellent, for soothing congestion with steam inhalation, in natural shampoos for scalp problems and also for the treatment of acne scars.

  • Dropper doesn't fit bottle

    star

It may be a good product, but NOT very helpful having a dropper that doesn't screw onto the bottle.
Thought this would be a great product especially for travelling, but as the dropper cap is the wrong size it must always be carried separately.... and in what??? Even at home, storing the dropper separately is silly. you have to wipe the dropper after using it, and then where do you put it?? dust sticks to it, flies (nasty germ carriers) sit on it etc, and then you have to rewash it before you can use it? A dropper cap that fitted the bottle would be a great improvement!! I wouldn't bother buying this product again unless they supplied a fitting dropper; think a standard bottle with small plastic non-spill (small opening) would be easier to use then having misplaced or dirty droppers.
