The simplest way to make a smoothie is to chop up fruit, put it into a base of a water, dairy or nut milk, add some nuts, seeds, oats, or leafy green vegetables, and blend. However, there are many other things you can add to take your smoothie to the next level, often enhancing the flavour in the process. These range from exotic fruits, superfoods and powders, various herbs, protein powders and more.

Fermented foods can add a probiotic boost. Green powders may add nutritional value, particularly where green vegetables are out of season or hard to source. Essential fatty acids such as flaxseed or fish oils can add critical macronutrients lacking in many modern diets.

    Enjoying this product - expected it to taste quite bad but not the case. Easy to drink. Like the all in one nature of it - heaps of great things to save you needing to buy lots of different health products. Will keep it in my morning routine. Got it on a great deal too from HealthPost.     Just about finished my first container of this and I love it, tastes great and easy to drink, and I feel good. I have always had a very sensitive gut as I'm a little stress bunny but this has calmed my system down somewhat. Definitely will be using it daily.
