Rice Protein Powder Info

Rice is one of the most widely-eaten foods in the world, but few people recognize it as a good source of protein. It contains reasonable levels of protein, and rice protein powder isolate is a great source of this essential macronutrient, particularly for vegetarians, vegans, and those wanting to source a low-allergen product.

With increasing numbers of people suffering allergies to common protein supplements including dairy (whey) and soy, rice provides a healthy and affordable alternative with a neutral taste. Protein powders are an easy way to increase the intake of protein in ones’ diet, and come in a range of flavours and forms.

Our selection includes a number of delicious flavours from leading brands, including coconut and cacao, cinnamon and vanilla, chocolate, and a powder made from sprouted rice, increasing digestibility and bioavailability of nutrients. Use rice protein powder on its own mixed with water, milk or your choice of milk alternative, or add to a smoothie for a healthy breakfast blend.

I use this product every day, and seem to have settled on it as my favourite protein powder so far. Love the vanilla flavour for its versatility (though the berry is pretty nice, too) - I use it in a few different ways, though rarely drink it as a shake as I find it a bit sweet by itself. Nice in a fruity or oaty smoothie, though.

Overnight oats - I like this about an hour before my morning workout: rolled oats, a scoop of protein powder, ground flax seeds and sunflower seeds, cinnamon, stirred up with water, and then some frozen mixed berries on top - I mix it up the night before and leave it in the fridge and it's perfect for me to start off with a cup of coffee. Pretty nice for making cookie-dough with some blitzed oats and cinnamon, too.

Post-workout - I need some food pretty quickly after lugging weights around so that I don't start trying to eat my desk at work, and what I'm digging right now is this mixed up to a milky-creamy consistency, some cornflakes for sweet malty crunch, ground almonds, and a banana. I'll sometimes have something like that last thing at night - it makes a pretty nice pudding mixed up with some peanut butter and berries. This maybe seems weird, but I've also used it smooshed up with a mashed banana and a small amount of water or soy milk to have on toast or a fruit muffin - yum.

My friend recommended this protein powder to me - I find it a great snack and it prevents any sugar cravings later on in the day.
I agree it is too sweet - but I combat this by putting a good heaped teaspoon of instant coffee in it for a lively Mocca.
    Have repurchased.

It seems like the best vegan protein powder on the market to me! All natural ingredients, all beneficial for your body. I use it in smoothies and smoothie bowls for breakfast, blended with a banana, blueberries, almond milk and a bit of cinnamon powder : yum!! The protein in itself tastes a bit "earthy" at first but I got used to it very quickly and now I love it!
