Vitamin E Info
Vitamin E is a collection of fat soluble compounds called tocopherols and tocotrienols. The major forms are designated alpha, beta, delta and gamma-tocopherols or tocotrienols.
To date the alpha-tocopherol form has been mainly used to produce vitamin E supplements, however recent research has highlighted the superior benefits of following nature’s blueprint and using mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols.
Natural forms of vitamin E are more readily absorbed by the body than synthetic forms.
Vitamin E Benefits
Vitamin E is an antioxidant with important protective activity against damage to cell membranes from free radicals due to air pollutants and chemical toxins. As well as helping maintain cell membrane integrity, vitamin E enhances immune function. It supports cardiovascular health by protecting artery walls and reducing plaque development due to the harmful effects of oxidated LDL-cholesterol.
Vitamin E used either internally or topically can be an effective treatment for wounds and skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis. Vitamin E is an important nutrient in sperm health and fertilisation. Babies born prematurely usually have low levels of vitamin E, as do women with preeclampsia. Vitamin E also supports eye health, hormonal balance in women and age-related memory function.

Amazing for Skin
I used these capsules broken open and rubbed on my pregnant belly during my pregnancy up to 35 weeks gestation. I had no stretch marks what so ever but when I stopped using the Vitamin E all of a sudden I had a few appear but they weren't major. I believe if I hadn't used it at all I would of had worse marks than I did and they possibly would have come earlier as I am a very petite girl who was pregnant with a very large baby. I am very happy with this product and will continue to use them to help reduce the appearance of my stretch marks. Highly recommend for any skin restoration or prevention of damage.
