Family-run & proudly New Zealand
Founded in 2008 by Toby and James Annabell, Egmont Honey grew from a single beehive into a thriving, family-run honey company based in South Taranaki. Their passion for ethical beekeeping and pure, high-quality honey drives everything they do, from hive management to packaging.
Premium manuka & natural honey
Egmont Honey produces both manuka and non-manuka honey sourced from their own 4,000 hives and a trusted network of local beekeepers. All honey is non-GMO, glyphosate residue-free, and antibiotic-free. By avoiding commercial pollination and supporting bee welfare, Egmont ensures that both the bees and their environment are cared for, resulting in honey that is pure, rich, and naturally potent.
Sustainably produced from hive to home
Egmont Honey processes all products in their state-of-the-art New Plymouth factory. Packaging uses 100% recycled rPET, reducing greenhouse emissions and energy use. The brand also practices regenerative farming, planting manuka and native trees and supporting the Taranaki Kiwi Trust to restore natural habitats. This commitment to sustainability, ethics, and quality ensures honey that is as good for the planet as it is for your table.
