This has no probiotics in it. It has been pasteurised.
"It tastes pasteurised, and Ceres have confirmed to me that after being fermented in its own juice, this sauerkraut is then lightly pasteurised to remove all probiotics and other bacteria as part of the canning/jarring process. I'm don't know whether the B vitamins and vitamin K created during lacto-fermentation are able to survive pasteurisation. Do not buy this if you are looking for probiotic raw sauerkraut. You will need to buy that labelled raw from the refrigerator of a speciality shop, or ferment your own."
