Doctor's Best Pure L-Glutamine Powder is an amino acid that is an essential building block of protein.

L-Glutamine has an important role in supporting muscle growth and health. It is one of the most abundant free amino acids in the body. 

L-Glutamine is synthesized in the body mainly in the skeletal muscles, liver and lungs, and plays a vital role in energy production, being the major fuel source for the liver, the intestines and immune system. 

This amino acid has an important role in its ability to support stress, intense physical activity and injuries. L-Glutamine has become widely known and used for its ergogenic capabilities; supporting physical performance, stamina and recovery after intense exercise among athletes.  It is also very popular for its role in immune health and exercise.

L-Glutamine is also known for its role in supporting a healthy intestinal lining and supporting wound healing and repair.

Ingredients

Each serve contains:L-Glutamine 5 gmOther ingredients: None.Store in a cool dry place.
Directions

Adults: Add 1 scoop to 250mls of juice or protein shake and mix well. For best results, drink 1 hour before exercise. Repeat after exercise or before bedtime, or as recommended by a nutritionally-informed health professional.
Precautions
  • Avoid using if you are pregnant, nursing, or if you have liver problems. 
  • If you are sensitive to monosodium glutamate (MSG), you may be sensitive to glutamine, as it converts glutamine to glutamate. 
  • It is recommended to supplement with B vitamins if taking l-glutamine long term.
  • Always read the label and use as directed. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional.
