Description

Dolphin Clinic Citronella Pure Essential Oil is useful for water balance in the body as well as energy support. Most famously, citronella helps keeps bugs away on those balmy summer eves. 

Fragrance notes:

Blends well with geranium, all eucalyptus oils, lemongrass.
Ingredients

Botanical Name: Cymbopogon nardus

Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

Add 15 drops citronella and 15 drops peppermint into 40 ml vodka and 60mls water and use as a room spray to deter flies/insects. Can also be used as a body insect repellant spray when diluted in a carrier oil. 
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
