New Hemisphere Hemp Seed Flour is a co-product of hemp seed (cannabis sativa) after the oil has been extracted. Hemp seed flour contains protein, high levels of dietary fibre both soluble and insoluble and essential amino acids. In addition, the oil component provides one of the richest sources of the essential fatty acids (EFA’s) linoleic acid (Omega 6, LA) and alpha linolenic acid (Omega 3, ALA).
Hemp seed flour provides nutrients that will ensure optimum health and well being for the whole family. It is an excellent source of fibre, as well as containing protein and important amino acids.
