"Monk fruit sweetener is regarded as one of the best & safest artificial sweeteners. It's pretty expensive, but the knowledge that it's safe, for me, offsets concerns about the purchase price. I bought the 20 gm item, which comes with a tiny spoon, but it turns out that that little spoonful is equivalent to a heaped teaspoon! There is an aftertaste, but it's not chemical or artificial. In coffee, it's a slightly tangy tropical-fruit flavour that I really liked; I imagine you wouldn't even notice it in cooking."
