Description
NOW Foods Sunflower Liquid Lecithin has Phosphatidyl Choline, the most abundant phospholipid in the cell membrane. It also naturally abounds in Phosphatidyl Inositol, Phosphatidyl Ethanolamine, and essential fatty acids. Lecithin aids in emulsifying fats, enabling them to be dispersed in water.

NOW® Sunflower Liquid Lecithin is Soy-Free and Non-GMO. Lecithin is a natural, fatty substance that’s an integral component of cell membranes. It’s comprised of various biochemicals including essential fatty acids, as well as phospholipids and phosphatides such as phosphatidyl choline and phosphatidyl serine. Phosphatidyl choline is a major component of the brain and nervous system.

As lecithin helps breakdown fats and cholesterol, this keeps these substances moving rather than accumulating on artery walls. The main ingredient, lipoproteins are mainly responsible for this action. Lecithin also helps support nervous system, heart and kidneys.

Directions

Simply:Blend 1 tablespoon into milk, protein shakes or vegetable juice. May also be used in salad dressings/sauces (as an emulsifier of fats) or as a non-stick coating on pots and pans. Shake well before using.
