Description
Doctor’s Best Curcumin Phytosome with Meriva® is a potent antioxidant that protects cells and tissues by fighting free radicals. It also supports healthy joint function, eye health, and small vessel circulatory health.
Curcuma longa, commonly known as turmeric, offers numerous health benefits including supporting the liver, digestive and cardiovascular function and joint health.
Curcuminoids, the active ingredient in turmeric, maintains healthy cyclooxygenase–2 (COX2) enzyme activity whilst also supporting the metabolism of prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and thromboxanes.
Curcumin is generally poorly absorbed into the bloodstream. Meriva® is a unique, patented curcumin extract that is attached to a phosphatidylcholine molecule (phosphatidylcholine is a component of cell membranes). Meriva® phytosome complexes are more stable and have high absorbability.

Arthritic Knee improved out of sight
"For all of 2016 my Right knee required monthly cortisone injections and draining (around 80-90 ml of fluid each time). I had to give up golf and the future did not look active. After a bit of testing of various natural products, Turmeric extract (Curcumin) was found to provide the most benefit. Starting in December 2016, I was taking 4 caps in the morning and 4 at night initially and now down to 3 and 3. The results are outstanding. I now have much reduced levels of pain (that can be controlled with a few Paracetamol occasionally) and significantly more freedom of movement. My last cortisone was after 8 weeks and only 40 ml was drained. I'm currently at 8 1/2 weeks since then, without any immediate need for cortisone or draining. I still have some issues but it is all so much more manageable. Male, 59 yrs"
