Description

Dolphin Clinic Bergamot Pure Essential Oil is useful for supporting a healthy immune response and can support healthy bladder flora. Bergamot was traditionally used for supporting a good night’s sleep and can support during times of stress, by calming and soothing away tension and worries by balancing emotions.

Ingredients

Botanical Name: Citrus bergamia
Plant Part: Peel
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed
Country of Origin: Italy
Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

Can also be mixed with 10ml carrier oil and massaged on the body.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist).  If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Citrus oils are slightly photo-sensitising so avoid sunlight after application to the skin.
  • Can irritate the skin, dilute well if used in the bath or in combination with hot water.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid during pregnancy.
