"I used this oil in the labouring suite during the birthing of our baby. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews stating that it could be used to induce labour, but I decided that our baby would arrive when he was ready without any interference. In the delivery suite I used it in an electric diffuser, where I literally stood over it while leaning against a cabinet to help with the contractions. Due to the fact I was using very effective breathing techniques, the Clary Sage & my breathing gave me quicker and stronger contractions. I also put a few drops into the birthing pool which was gorgeous. . . I only stayed in the pool for 20 minutes, but during those 20 minutes it was complete bliss. HOWEVER: do discuss the use of ANY oils during labour with your LMC."
