Description

Dolphin Clinic Lemon Pure Essential Oil is useful for healthy immune response, circulation, particularly in cold weather. Apply with a carrier oil and massage legs to support veins.

Ingredients

Botanical Name: Citrus limon.
Plant Part: Skin and Rind.
Extraction Method: Cold Pressed.
Country of Origin: Italy.
Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

When there are seasonal sniffles add 2 drops lemon, 2 drops peppermint, 2 drops lavender in a vaporiser or diffuser, or onto a tissue to place in your pocket to inhale throughout the day. 
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin. If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • All essential oils should be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Citrus oils are slightly photo-sensitising so avoid sunlight after application to the skin.
  • May cause irritation to sensitive skin.
  • Should not be used by people with citrus allergies.
  • May irritate skin if used in the bath or in combination with hot water. Dilute in milk first if used in the bath.
  • Do not use before exposure to the sun.
