Dolphin Clinic Ylang Ylang Pure Essential Oil is useful for helping couples connect. Ylang ylang is helpful to use during times of stress and worry and it supports a balanced and calm mood.

Ingredients

Botanical Name: Cananga odorata

Plant Part: Flowers

Extraction Method: Steam Distilled

Directions

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10ml of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

For a romantic massage, blend 5 drops ylang ylang and 5 drops lavender into 20ml almond oil. For a relaxing and romantic ambience, add 3 drops ylang ylang and 3 drops lavender to a vaporiser or diffuser. 
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Can cause headaches and nausea if used excessively

"I have a heart arythmmia and use Ylang Ylang with a carrier oil to massage around my heart at bedtime (and any other time I feel stressed or have palpitations). It works wonderfully to calm; as it regulates the heart rate and lowers high blood pressure. It relaxes and gives a great nights sleep, better than any other natural products I’ve tried. Beats taking harmful drugs!"
