Description
Pacific Harvest Wakame Leaves - Wild are harvested from the South Island of New Zealand, dried naturally and tested for contaminants. With a subtle flavour it can be used as any green vegetable is used to complement a meal, in salads, stir fries or soups. 

Wild harvested, air dried to preserve colour and nutrients and tested for contaminants.

The fine white powder which may be evident on this seaweed is glutamine, a naturally occurring amino acid which rises to the surface of a wild harvested seaweed as it dries naturally. This is the source of wonderful umami flavour in wild harvested seaweeds and is not to be confused with mould!
Ingredients

Wakame (undaria sp.) dried seaweed 100%
Directions

Soak in tepid water for a few minutes. Leaves will expand to 5-10 times their dry size. 
Precautions
  • Contains naturally occurring iodine.
  • Excessive consumption may exceed recommended daily dietary intakes which could have adverse effects. 
  • Wild harvested. Check for debris.
