Description
Absolute Essential Tea Tree (Organic) is renowned for its antibacterial and healing support. Tea Tree is widely used to cleanse and purify. Its antiseptic properties support natural healing in minor cuts, scrapes, rashes and bites. It also can be used for daily skin care and particularly for feet. 

Tea tree is a species of tall shrub endemic to Australia. It grows along streams and on swampy flats and generally dominates the habitat where it occurs. It was used widely by indigenous Australians prior to colonisation and has been popular since the early 20th century when it's useful molecular compounds were established. It is considered a must-have in every home health kit due to its antiseptic and insecticide properties. It is often referred to as a medicine cabinet in a bottle.

Fragrance notes:
A strong, sharp, mildly acrid, camphor-like aroma. Often described as clean and astringent it has notes of fresh wood and earth. 

Blends well with:
Rosemary Cineol, Manuka, Lavender True and Lemon.
Ingredients

Melaleuca alternifolia (plant/flower, distilled, certified organic, Australia)

Naturally occurring constituents: Terpinene-4-ol, gamma-Terpinene, alpha-Terpinene, Paracymene, 1,8-Cineol.
Directions

For topical use:Blend with a carrier oil before applying to the skin, 5 drops per 10ml of carrier oil (i.e. almond, apricot, jojoba.)

For diffuser or vaporiser: Add 4-8 drops of essential oil as per instructions of device 

Wounds & scrapes: Have on hand for sudden emergencies. The antiseptic properties support cleansing of minor wounds and scrapes. To clean, add 5 drops of Tea Tree oil to a basin of water with a squirt of hand soap, and wash the affected area. Repeat twice daily. Avoid eyes.

Foot care: A daily foot bath 5 drops of Tea Tree oil and a squirt of body wash supports skin health. Dab directly onto the affected area.

Purify the air:During ills and chills season, add 10 drops of Tea Tree oil to the bath or diffuser while the lungs need support. Increase support with 5 drops Eucalyptus and 5 drops Lavender Spike.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml).
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid use during pregnancy.
