Description

Dolphin Clinic Black Pepper Pure Essential Oil is useful for soothing muscles when applied topically in massage with a carrier oil. Joint support, healthy circulation, regular bowel motions.

Ingredients

Botanical Name: Piper nigrum

Plant Part: Berries

Extraction Method: Steam Distillation

Country of Origin: Madagascar
Directions

All essential oils should simply be blended in a carrier oil before applying to the skin. The dilution rate is usually 5 drops of essential oil blended into 10mls of carrier oil (carrier oils such as almond, apricot, avocado, jojoba, etc.).

Use: 4-8 drops in a vaporiser or diffuser.

To create an invigorating and energising environment, add 2 drops pepper, 2 drops frankincense and 2 drops orange to a diffuser or vaporiser, or on a tissue and inhale.
Precautions
  • Never ingest essential oils.
  • Never use them undiluted on your skin. 
  • Never use essential oils topically on babies under 3 months old (except under the guidance of a qualified therapist). If using topically with children, halve the amount of essential oils used (e.g. 2 drops per 10 ml). 
  • Avoid continual repetitive use - not more than 4-5 days in any week, unless in severe circumstances or under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
  • If accidentally ingested do not induce vomiting, follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional.
  • Avoid contact with eyes - flush with water.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Avoid during  pregnancy.

"Bought this as it was recommended to me to include in a blend with geranium and lavender essential oils to deter cockroaches. Too soon to know about its efficacy, but can report that the blend of these three oils is very pleasant and does not resemble odours usually associated with insect repellants."
