Description

Solgar Turmeric Root Extract capsule provide high quality Turmeric standardised to ensure active levels of the spice, curcuminoids. Famous for giving food its bright yellow colour, Turmeric has a valued history of traditionally use both in Indian Ayurvedic practice and cooking. Today, it has become a popular supplement due to the numerous health benefits such as  supporting digestive, joint comfort and mobility,  liver function and antioxidant protection.  

The bioactive compounds in turmeric are known as flavonoids called Curcuminoids.  Naturally these are not high in turmeric only 3%, so Solgar has standardized these to get more active curcuminoids, 93% per capsule.

Ingredients

Each Vegetable Capsule Provides:

Standardised Turmeric Root Extract 400mg

(372mg [93%] curcuminoids)

Antioxidant (powdered blend* of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid)

Also contains: Hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable  magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

* PhytO2X is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients.
Directions

As a food supplement for adults, take 1 capsule daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Precautions

Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless under advice of a healthcare professional. Caution with warfarin.
